What is Governor's School?

A Governor's School is a selective school that high school students can apply to for extra classes. Some Governor's Schools take place during the regular school year while others take place during summer break.

How is student life at SRGS?

Students spend a total of one month at Governor's School. After class, a student has the option to attend a colloquium set during that day. The remainder of a student's time is left to themselves.

What is the Governor's School at the University of Lynchburg?

University of Lynchburg offers a "Summer Residential" Governor's School for Math, Science, and Technology. Students take one class on a particular topic for 3 and a half hours a day.

How is the "residence" in Summer "Residental" Governor's School?

Governor's School students reside in Westover Hall, the best dorms on campus. Students are seperated by gender with males on the left wing of the hall and females on the right wing.
